Is there a Registration Fee?

No. There is no Registration Fee for Beginner/ Level 1 students.

Are Beginner classes billed monthly or by semester?

Our Beginner program is a month-to-month commitment. Students can cancel at anytime. To withdraw, a withdrawal form must be submitted online by the 15th of the child's last month in order to cancel billing for the next month.

What are the new measures being taken for in person classes in regards to social distancing and wearing masks?

Dancers are to wear masks when entering and exiting the building based on the current state mask mandate unless they are age 5 or under or have a medical condition.

Masks are optional during exercise/dancing for students.

Dancers are 6 feet apart while learning and practicing steps in the dance room as well as when they are in the lobby for water breaks at their chairs.

Students are instructed to enter the dance room one person at a time to assure social distancing is kept.

Our teachers do wear masks while teaching. At times, however, teachers have needed to lower their own mask in order for students to hear dance instruction. When our teachers lower their mask to instruct, they remain 6 feet away from any students.

Does my child need both softshoes and hardshoes?

Yes, Beginner dancers need both softshoes and hardshoes.

Here are some options for getting shoes for your child:

Option #1: Purchase New Shoes Online (get size recommendations from Rince Nua).

Option #2: Purchase Pre-Owned Shoes from another Rince Nua family (search the "shoes for sale" bin at Rince Nua)

Option #3: Buy New Shoes at Irish on Grand in St. Paul (get sized at Irish on Grand)

Option #4: Rent Shoes from Rince Nua (limited availability)
